ARBOR DAY AT HISTORICAL KAPI`OLANI REGIONAL PARK - NOVEMBER 21, 2024

Two Kukui Nut Trees were planted on a beautiful day at Kapi`olani Regional Park for Arbor Day. Kahu Lawrence blessed the two Kukui Nut Trees which were planted as a community effort by Scenic Hawai`i, Kapi`olani Park Preservation Society, and the City and County of Honolulu.

Everyone present had a chance to use the Golden shovels to help plant the Kukui Nut Trees. Mahalo to the City and County of Honolulu for setting up this nice event with the planting of the trees, setting up the tents and chairs, and organizing this planting. Delicious Musubi, pastries, and homemade cookies along with Starbucks coffee were enjoyed at this joyous tree planting.
